Overview
Phoenix Contact CLIPLINE Complete Modular Terminal Block System: UT Screw Connection Family | UT Series — Universal and Maintenance-free Terminal Blocks:
Universal in every application. This characterizes the UT screw connection terminal blocks from the CLIPLINE complete system. They meet the highest requirements, impress with their maintenance-free conductor connection, and offer maximum flexibility with their multi-conductor connection. You can connect conductors with a nominal cross section either with or without ferrules. It is not necessary to tighten the terminal block screws, since they are prevented from loosening by the Reakdyn principle, a screw locking technique developed by Phoenix Contact. Very large conductor cross sections up to 240 mm2 can also be wired gas-tight and with long-term stability thanks to the high contact forces.
The UT screw terminal block series is the only one of its kind on the market and combines the advantages of screw connection technology with the benefits of spring-loaded contacts. The Snap-On PE foot and standardized bridges save a considerable amount of time when creating terminal strips. To allow fast and individual potential distribution, the terminal blocks in the CLIPLINE complete system have two function shafts. These are arranged in one line over all the terminal blocks, allowing for a combination of connection technologies. This makes it possible to implement all the tasks of potential bridging within a very short time.
